Jack Gilmore, 2025 Senior

Jack Gilmore will graduate from Alton High School in 2025. His favorite family activity is going out to eat and his favorite childhood memory is attending a car show in West Plains.

At AHS, Jack was involved in band, music, Vo-Tech, and art club. The class he enjoyed the most was Vo-Tech because he gained experience with auto body work and saw his dream car, a 2017 Chevy Camaro SS, which he would love to own one day! His favorite high school memory is accidentally hitting his friend in the face with a dodgeball.

Jack especially enjoyed the Vo-Tech Auto Body class, where he learned how to fix a vehicle’s fender. Outside of school, he enjoys hanging out with his friends. He describes himself as funny, kind, and smart.

After high school, Jack plans to get more experience working in an auto body shop. In 10 years, he sees himself with a good job in the auto mechanic field.

His top three bucket list items are buying a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup truck, attending car shows, and purchasing his dream car.

The person he admires most is his band teacher, Kaleb Gray because he taught Jack how to play the snare drum.

What Jack will miss most about AHS is seeing his friends. If he could be remembered for one thing, it would be his strong-willed personality.

His advice to underclassmen is to always be smart and stay out of trouble.
