We wrapped up our 2024 Cross Country season with State Competition. We would like to start by saying we are very thankful for all the support shown to our team. The community has been overwhelmingly supportive, especially by the send-off on Friday, Nov 8th. The kids were so excited to see those who came outside and cheered us on as we left school with an escort by our very own Officer Huddleston. Our school High School Cheer team and coach, Hope Rackley for organizing the pep rally and supplying treat bags for the trip! The Administration (Mrs. Reese, Mrs. Reeves, Mrs. Nash, Mr. Andrews and Mrs. Miller) for allowing the entire school body to be a part of our send-off, with their signs and cheers! To our fellow teachers and coaches who support these athletes to be the best they can be, both in the classroom and on the course! We also would like to recognize Jerry Granger, Jamey Morrison and Catherine Medlin for always making sure we get to where we need to be! Last, but certainly not least, we want to thank our parents! They allow us to work with their children everyday. Their support is vital to our success and we know a good program is only as good as the support it receives! We have been extremely blessed! Now for the athletes; because they are what it is truly all about! We are really proud of the effort and improvement each and everyone of these athletes have made over the season and we feel like the future is bright!
