Where: This year’s prom will be hosted at Rustic Charms in Mountain View, MO.
When: Saturday April 13th 2019
Important Times: Students need to arrive for Grand March Line-up →4:00pm, Grand March → 4:30, Bus departs to Mountain View → 5:15 pm, Prom → 6pm - 10 pm, Bus departs to Alton → 10 pm, Bus Arrival at Alton → 10:45 pm

SENIORS: If any of you plan to attend Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff next year, their Registration ROCKS will be held in April. You need to let Mrs. Gilliland know by Friday, March 8 and she will help you get registered to attend one of the open dates.
6th grade parents: Bus leaves for Field Trip tomorrow morning at6:30. Have a great time 6th graders!
No school at Alton R-4 on Thursday, February 28, 2019 due to freezing drizzle and slick roads, especially in the northern part of the District.
SOPHOMORES: If you are interested in attending classes next year at the South Central Career Center, we will register for those courses during 3rd hour on Thursday, March 7th in the library computer lab.
SENIORS & Parents: A representative from vocational rehabilitation will be here on Thursday, March 14th to meet with seniors who have any type of physical, educational, emotional, or other disability to see if you would benefit from their services. This is a reschedule. See Mrs. Gilliland for more info or to sign up to meet with her.
SENIORS: Please look ahead at scholarship due dates and work required. There are several that could be affected by weather, Spring Break, or other "no-school" reasons. You have several scholarship applications due March 8th online. Don't get caught unprepared by weather!
10th & 11th Graders: Check out MSU-Springfield Bear Partnership Camp-free week long camp for those who may want to teach someday. Held on the campus at Springfield. Pick up an application from Mrs. Gilliland or download one from your Google Classroom!
SENIORS: SIX New Scholarships posted in the senior classroom today! Valued from $500 to $20,000!

10th & 11th Grade Students: UM-Columbia School of Medicine has a Mizzou MedPrep: Medical Explorations Workshop. 2 weeks online and one day visit to either Columbia campus or Springfield campus. Info in your Google Classroom!
